The Brooklyn Nets celebrate Black History Month (BHM) throughout February with numerous in-game activations, community outreach efforts, elevated performances, and exciting giveaways. The Brooklyn Nets will be honoring the collection of communities that comprise the African Diaspora and Brooklyn Caribbean community during our BHM United Game.


Local Caribbean DJ, Billionaire Pat, brought the sounds of the Caribbean to the concourse until tip-off.


HoodCelebrityy, a Jamaican dancehall singer, performed during halftime.


Unison Steel, a Brooklyn-based steel pan band welcomed fans with live Calypso music.


In conjunction with the West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA), carnival dancers and stilt walkers engaged with fans as they entered the concourse.

Game Ball Delivery

Game Ball Delivery was presented by Shelly Worrell, founder and CEO of CaribBEING.


The first 3,000 fans received a custom flag highlighting Brooklyn’s Little Caribbean.
